Eric Weijman appointed Chief Risk Officer of ABN AMRO Asset Based Finance

Eric Weijman has been appointed Chief Risk Officer of ABN AMRO Asset Based Finance. He succeeded Nico Uijterwaal on April 1st, 2020.

Eric has worked for ABN AMRO since 2006. He started his career within Commercial Banking amongst others as Credit Risk Portfolio Manager and Relationship Manager. Before joining ABN AMRO Asset Based Finance (ABF), Eric worked for Asset & Liability Management (ALM) within ABN AMRO Bank.

Eric joined ABF two years ago as Commercial Banking Director within the Dutch sales organisation, to later become responsible for the Digital ABF & Vendor Lease department.

ABN AMRO Asset Based Finance (ABF) is a subsidiary of ABN AMRO. ABF is active in corporate finance, leasing, accounts receivable financing, inventory financing and credit management. ABF has branches in the UK, France, Germany and the Netherlands and has a team of approximately 750 employees. ABF operates under the trade names ABN AMRO Commercial Finance and ABN AMRO Lease. The merger of the two asset-based financiers has created synergy between various teams within the group, including the Risk department.
