ABN AMRO wins first place in SFNet Cross-Border Finance Essay Contest 2022
We are pleased to announce that our colleagues, Ronald Biemans and Tom Gevers of the International Structuring and Origination team’s essay, “The Single Group Facility: Simplifying Cross-Border Receivables Finance”, has been selected as the First Place Winner of the SFNet Cross-Border Finance Essay Contest 2022, sponsored by Goldberg Kohn.
The essay has been published in the latest edition of – a global ABL industry magazine and all finalists will also participate in a panel session on Cross-Border Lending at SFNet’s upcoming , taking place in Austin, Texas this November.
Single Group Facility recognition
This award is in addition to the European Asset Based Finance Awards, where we again won and were recognised for our Single Group Facility capabilities in 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2022. According to the European Awards jury, the award recognises the overall achievement of asset-based lenders being able to deliver innovative ABL structures across Europe, while maintaining credit quality and developing teams.
